We got married in the Algarve in May 2022 following a 2 year delay thanks to covid! We chose Sonho a Dois to be our wedding planners after meeting them in Manchester way back in early 2019. Our wedding planner was Sandra and as soon as we met with her we knew instantly that we were in the best hands. From start to finish everything was flawless. Ultimate professionalism, amazing local knowledge and contacts, and the biggest hearts in the business! Sandra was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble, she was always on hand to answer any questions, check in and see how we were doing, make valuable suggestions and give us sound advice. After being in contact for over 3 years, Sandra has not only been our wedding planner but we feel like she has also become our friend. The wedding day itself went without a hitch! It truly was the best day ever and we will forever be grateful to Sandra for everything she did to help make our wedding day just perfect! In fact one of our guests was actually an events planner herself and she was in awe of everything, in her words “it’s amazing, it’s been absolutely faultless” Anyone thinking of using Sonho a Dois, I promise you won’t be disappointed. What can I say than best decision ever to get married abroad. And couldnt hve choose a better wedding planner. Got married in grse beautiful 5* hotel. Everything was perfect. And all thanks to wedding planners they never missed a thing. Thanks so much for the best day ever. Yous are wonderful
We dont know where to even start. Back in 2019 we attended a wedding show here in Ireland hosted by Sonho A Dois. Back then we were unsure about a foreign wedding and wanted to keep our options open! However from the moment we met the Sonho A Dois team and Carla in particular we knew this was what we wanted. From then we planned a trip over to visit Carla and choose our venue(s). Carla was so unbelievably accommodating, she picked us up and brought us out to a number of different venues! We went with Senhora da Roche (Lady of the Rock) for our ceremony & Monte Das Oliveiras for our reception, both amazing places. We were due to get married on the 28th June 2021 but it wasn’t meant to be with what was going on in the world at the time. This left us a little worried as we had everything organised for this date but Carla was there to guide us every step of the way from having a plan B to picking a new date just in case. We ended up going with the 26th July 2022 and to say Carla made this an easy switch for us was an understatement. Carla made sure to make this process so smooth and worry free, she made sure all our suppliers were available for our new date! Carla was in constant contact with us, always providing us with an update & putting any of our worries at ease! After rearranging everything we visited Carla in March 2022 for food tasting at Montes, she picked us up, brought us to different suppliers to get sorted, onto the food tasting and dropped us back again in the evening, everything was perfect!! With only a few months to our wedding again Carla was again constantly onto us making sure all the small parts on our side were done making sure to lead up to our day was stress free. We arrived 1 week before our wedding and Carla made sure to visit us again to go over everything again for the day. Then our big day finally came, it was perfect!! Carla made sure everything was flawless, I have no words to describe how amazing she was, right up until the day she was making/suggesting little adjustments just to make sure our day was so special. We honestly can’t thank her enough and the team at Sonho A Dois. If you’re getting married abroad, trust us when we say look no further than these amazing ladies.
What can we say other than incredible, we were due to be married July 2021 and due to covid we had to re arrange to august 2022, and it was absolutely worth the wait!! Living in Scotland and putting your trust in someone in Portugal to arrange things on your behalf was not any easy thing for us at the start. As the bride I was extremely anxious and nervous about doing this as I am complete perfectionist! Those worried all went shortly after calls facetimes emails with noelia and her team, they listened to absolutely every little detail we wished for we knew exactly how we wanted things to be and it was all carried out and more, we cannot thank you all enough yous went above and beyond to make us feel calm and assured our day would be perfect and it was!! Our venue was just out of this world the Monte das Oliveiras is just an other level if you have chosen a venue yet then please look there you will be blown away, Noelia recommended suppliers and they were also incredible from the florist down to the waiting staff every single member of staff was just amazing and so friendly not just to us but to all our guests. We had 75 guests in total and even 4 weeks down the line they are all still talking about our wedding the best they have even been to they have all said and that’s not just down to myself and my husband, sonho has a major part to play in that as we could not have had the wedding of dreams without them, so please if your nervous in who to go then stop right there put your trust in these ladies and you will not be disappointed. 04.06.22 Our original plans to get married in Ireland were hindered by Covid when in February 2021 we came across the details of Sonho Y Dois in a wedding magazine. From first contact with Carla we were impressed by her friendly yet professional manner. By April 2021 we had booked the Pink House as the venue for our wedding. The Sonha O Dois website is very helpful with its lists of potential suppliers. Carla assisted us in selecting the various elements of our wedding from the music to the flowers to the caterers. Every question or request was met with an appropriate and unflustered response. Carla is a rare combination of exemplary attitude and ability. On our big day Carla was unfortunately struck down with Covid but Marisa filled in and did a great job. I recall looking out the window of the villa the morning of the wedding to see Marisa meticulously and precisely spacing the seats for the ceremony. I knew we were in good hands and really enjoyed the day without worrying about anything. We were oblivious to the few minor issues over the course of the day, which were ably attended to by Marissa, only hearing about them in the days after the wedding. Even though she had Covid we still had phone contact with Carla the day of our wedding and the pool party, the day after at the Pink House. The night of the pool party when I texted Carla to say the keg and run out, could we get another? ‘On it’ was the response I got within seconds! We are delighted with how our wedding went and our decision to use Sonha O Dois as our wedding planners. Thanks a Mil!
